This conference is an interdisciplinary conference featuring papers by economists and political scientists. It brings together researchers analyzing the ways in which technological changes, social preferences, coordination constraints, and institutional innovations, among other considerations, interact with political and economic factors to shape environmental policymaking processes and outcomes. Presenters approach a wide array of questions from a variety of perspectives and using a range of methodologies, including formal and quantitative methods. The conference aims to foster an interdisciplinary conversation that not only provides feedback to current researchers from a diversity of intellectual perspectives, but also sheds light on new and productive directions for future research.
